I haven't gotten to the point of using the modified BIOS thingy in the DSDT forums yet that samisnake posted, that was going to be next. Same thing happens when I try to do it in safe mode or with iBoot. The fans are still running and the computer is on, but the monitor goes into powersaving mode and i can't get the computer to do anything at all. Buuuuut it doesn't What happens is it acts like it went to sleep and won't be woken up. When I try to get into my HDD now, it goes to the white loading screen with the Apple logo, and looks like it is going to start. I followed the install guides for Snow Leopard and was finally on my third try able to get to the point where I could run the 10.6.8 combo update. I am using built in graphics on the motherboard.
